Affiliated to the
Council for Scottish Archaeology.
The Society, which has been in operation for over fifty years, performs important functions in the areas of historical and archaeological research.
As a service to the community, the Society hosts a series of lectures during autumn to spring by a variety of renowned speakers, covering the topics of history, archaeology and natural history, both local and national.
Membership subscriptions of £20.00 per person (£10.00 for second person in same household) are valid from April 2024 - March 2025. It averages out at just over £2 per lecture.
